As the daughter of a federal prosecutor, Tori Harker gained a unique appreciation for the various challenges people may come to face in their lives. Growing up in Toronto, Yellowknife, Whitehorse, and Victoria afforded her the opportunity to experience diversity in its various manifestations. Prior to practicing law, Tori was a special education assistant and an Orton Gillingham certified tutor, where she gained valuable experience working with children of various needs.

After obtaining her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria, Tori completed her articles and practiced at a boutique family law firm in Vancouver. Tori employs an empathic approach where significant effort is given to understanding her clients’ individual circumstances. This method gives her the ability to best address their concerns and needs.

Tori is an experienced litigator in provincial and supreme court and readily explores all available legal options. Principled and research-driven, she is guided by her tireless enthusiasm to secure the best outcome for her clients.

Tori is also an accredited family law mediator. As a mediator, Tori assists parties and counsel in reaching constructive, creative and proportionate resolutions.

Nicole has dedicated her legal career to supporting families through both community involvement and courtroom advocacy. Born in New Jersey and raised in Alberta in a Filipino household, she brings a perspective shaped by a strong appreciation for culture, community, and service. Nicole earned her B.A. (Honours) in Political Science in 2007 and her Juris Doctor in 2011 from the University of Alberta. She has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 2012.

Since obtaining her Juris Doctor, Nicole has dedicated her practice to the area of family law. With over a decade of experience in all facets of family law, Nicole recognizes the financial consequences and psychological impact on individuals going through separation and divorce. An effective litigator, Nicole regularly appears in Provincial Court and Supreme Court. She has significant experience with cases involving high-conflict parenting disputes, child and spousal support, family violence, complex family property and debt division, and extensive experience with cases involving the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Nicole’s experience provides her with the ability to develop a strategy tailored to ensure every client’s immediate and long-term needs are met. She achieves resolutions for her clients through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and, when necessary, litigation.

Nicole is actively involved in the legal community and enjoys mentoring new lawyers. She has given lectures on a range of family law topics at various community organizations throughout the Lower Mainland and has presented for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia (CLEBC). Nicole is also a regular volunteer for the Vancouver & Lower Mainland Multicultural Family Support Services Society. Nicole practiced at a boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver for 10 years before joining Intra Law Corporation in 2023.

Nicole is known for her empathy, candour, and steady guidance. She aims to shoulder the legal burden so clients can focus on themselves and their families.
